Did You Know that BMW's Largest Production Location is in Spartanburg, SC?

Back on June 23, 1992, when the BMW Group announced that the company was building a United States plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, it seemed highly unlikely that the facility would grow to its current size and production capacity. Since that initial announcement, the plant enjoyed continuous additions and expansions, culminating in the company's recent decision to produce the BMW X model vehicles at the location -- hereby making the Spartanburg facility the largest manufacturing plant in the company's production network.

The BMW Z4 Is Back

After a two year hiatus, BMW is bringing back the Z4.

On Thursday, BMW showed off a prototype of the Z4 at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. We knew that there was an announcement to be made, we just didn't know what it was... until now.

“The concept Z4 shows off from all angles BMW’s new design language,” said BMW's design head Adrian van Hooydonk, “It’s an absolute driving machine.”
