BMW Engages in a bit of Reverse Psychology

Often times when you hear of growth, expansion comes to mind, but not for BMW. The Bavarian auto maker is working to win the hearts of of today's younger and more efficient drivers by downsizing.
Yep, you read that right, BMW is shrinking the size of many of their most popular vehicles and instead introducing a more petite long of posh utility vehicles.
What exactly can we expect BMW to downsize? Particularly, BMW is looking to downsize their 1 Series. And although we don't expect that it will be significantly different than the 1 Series sedan or coupe you can find now on our lot, just a bit smaller and ideally more efficient.
With that being said, lets move onto the BMW X1. The X1 was first introduced to the market at the New York Auto Show, and is sure to provide drivers fun, functionality and fuel economy. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?
?Just how much will a slice cost? Less than you'd probably ever guess. The highly anticipated BMW X1 will carry a starting M.S.R.P. of just over 31 grand.
