If you are on the fence about taking a 2012 BMW M5 for a test drive, but just haven't gotten around to it for whatever reason, then BMW of Ridgefield, serving the greater Ridgefield area, is ready to inspire you.

Our neighbors in the great white north have gotten the opportunity to see the sedan impersonate a bullet. The commercial starts with the BMW M5 getting shot out of a barrel.  The M5 accelerates with breathtaking speed and noise, crashing through several different objects.  The beauty of the video though is that it was shot via a high speed camera that allowed them to capture even the tiniest details as the Sedan decimated it's targets in slow motion.

The first obstacle, a bright-red glass apple is obliterated as the BMW M5 hits 155 mph.  The scene is quite breathtaking as tiny glass shards slowly drift through the air as the car moves on to its next target.  It really is an amazing piece of cinematography, but still pales in comparison for what the director has in store.

After the apple the M5 appears to develop a thirst coming upon three large water balloons.  The water balloons are ready to burst at the slightest touch, and as the BMW M5 drives underneath only the finned antennae on the roof touches.  The balloons in super slow motion disappear as gallons of water descend to Earth, but the car is already gone before the water ever touches the ground.

Finally, the BMW M5 reaches its target... which is literally a target. It smashes through the last obstacle with precision - a real bull's eye.
